When you think of Corolla, you think of the wild Spanish mustangs roaming free along the northern beaches—and this is your chance to see them up close.

Join us for a 2-hour off-road adventure into Carova aboard our brand-new 2026 open-air 4WD vehicle. We travel along the shoreline and through the dunes, where these incredible horses live exactly as they have for centuries.

Along the way, your guide will share the story of the Outer Banks—from its early development to the unique ecosystem that supports the wild horses today. We’ll stop for photos, take in the scenery, and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

Most tour trucks pack in 14 people. We cap ours at 10—same space, way more breathing room.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to check in and complete your waiver.

How long is the tour?
Approximately 2 hours, round trip.

Should I tip the driver?
Gratuities are appreciated and customary if your guide delivers a great experience.

Pregnancy notice
If you’re in your third trimester, this tour isn’t recommended.

Cancellation policy
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within that window and we’re unable to rebook your seats, you will be charged.
If weather looks questionable, please plan to show up unless we contact you—forecasts here are famously unreliable.

Guests must be at least 8 years old or 80 lbs.
